• Expertly leverage Catalist data resources, including voter files, microtargeting models, and synthetic tools in addressing client questions and needs • Support internal research and development projects through thoughtful analysis and clearly communicated findings • Assist with maintenance and development of internal Analytics data architecture • Communicate technical topics clearly and concisely in the form of presentations, webinars, memo drafts and technical reference documentation • Provide quality control to ensure Analytics deliverables are conveyed accurately and precisely • Other duties as needed and assigned by the Deputy Director of Analytics

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of political campaign, analytics, and/or data experience
  • Familiarity with Catalist data, progressive political needs, voter files, and/or commercial databases
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: data visualization, data engineering, digital media, commercial databases, applications of microtargeting models, polling and survey research, controlled experiments, mapping/GIS software, reporting, and program evaluation
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python and command line interfaces (CLI)
  • Highly motivated, curious, and collaborative
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated capacity to thrive in evolving environments
  • Background check required
