Title: Senior Director of Clinical Recruiting Location: New York, NY Category: Medical Operations Job Description: About the Company K Health is building the infrastructure for how America will access primary care — an AI-enabled virtual platform that meets patients where they are, embedded within the most trusted health systems in the country. We are live with ten leading health system partners including Cedars-Sinai, Mayo Clinic, Mass General Brigham, and Northwell, and we are growing fast: our platform. We have doubled year over year and we expect the next year to be even stronger. Over the next twelve months we are targeting a significant expansion of our provider workforce, with the goal of doubling our clinical team to meet the demand of both our existing health system partners and a pipeline of new partnerships coming online. About the Role We are looking to build in-house excellence in clinical recruiting. The person we are hiring to lead this effort will not be filling seats — they will be architecting the clinical workforce of a platform that has the potential to fundamentally reshape how primary care is delivered in the United States, and doing it at the moment when the trajectory is steepest and the impact is greatest. As the Senior Director of Clinical Recruiting at K Health, you will serve as a strategic talent leader reporting directly to our C-level. You will own the strategy, execution, and scaling of our clinician workforce across the nation, supporting the next rapid growth phase of our journey. In this high-impact role, you’ll leverage your proven recruiting playbook, nationwide clinician rolodex, and operational expertise to partner closely with internal executive leaders and external health system partners to meet dynamic hiring demands. What You Will Do - Drive National Recruiting Strategy: Design, execute, and scale an end-to-end recruitment strategy for primary care clinicians across all 50 states to meet clinical and business demand. - Executive & Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate directly with the CMO, executive leadership, and external health system partners to align talent supply with clinical demand and growth initiatives. - Scale Virtual Workforces: Build agile pipeline strategies tailored specifically for virtual healthcare environments and rapid-growth organizations. - Leverage Network & Playbooks: Utilize an existing network/rolodex of nationwide primary care clinicians and deploy proven sourcing playbooks to accelerate hiring. - Optimize Operations & Metrics: Establish recruitment SLAs, track key metrics, and continuously refine intake and interview processes to optimize candidate experience and time-to-fill. What We Are Looking For - Experience: 8+ years of talent acquisition experience, with a heavy emphasis on healthcare recruiting and clinical hiring. - Leadership & Scaling: 3+ years of direct experience scaling a nationwide primary care or telehealth clinician workforce within a fast-growing virtual healthcare organization. - Strategic Playbooks: Proven track record of developing and deploying sourcing playbooks and leveraging a deep, active network/rolodex of primary care clinicians. - Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience navigating and managing complex internal and external health system partnership requirements. Bonus - Prior experience working in a venture-backed healthtech or high-growth startup environment. - Deep familiarity with clinical credentialing processes, multi-state licensure nuances, and telehealth compliance standards. Compensation: - Base compensation of $150,000 with a total projected cash compensation of $275,000 with bonus included. Benefits & Perks: #LI-Hybrid - 18 vacation days, 9 company holidays, 5 sick days, and 2 personal days - Stock options for every full-time employee - Paid parental leave - 401k benefit - Commuter Benefits - Competitive health, dental, and vision insurance options Compensation: $150,000 - $275,000 USD Who We Are: Behind every leading health system is K Health’s AI-powered virtual care engine. Esteemed health systems like Mayo Clinic, Cedars-Sinai, Mass General Brigham, Hackensack Meridian Health, and Hartford Healthcare partner with K Health to build and run modern primary virtual care clinics on their behalf. Our deeply integrated model modernizes the primary care loop by using AI to put humans first. For our patients, we offer clinical AI (i.e., PatientGPT) and unparalleled access to close care gaps around the clock. For our Providers, we deliver provider-serving agentic solutions (i.e., Perfect Note) to eliminate administrative overload and burnout. And for the health systems, we deploy our top-grade Virtualists in AI-powered virtual clinics 24/7 to capture the patients' care journeys at step one, retain the journey through the system for longitudinal care, and strengthen profitability. We’re founded in 2016, headquartered in New York City, and backed by nearly $400 million from leading investors including Valor Equity Partners, Claure Group, Mangrove Capital Partners, 14W, Notable Capital, Lerer Hippeau, Primary Venture Partners, Comcast Ventures, PICO Venture Partners, Max Ventures, and other strategic healthcare partners. We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider applicants for employment regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding, age, citizenship, military or veteran status, or any other class protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws. We’re deeply committed to building teams as diverse as the patients we serve and strive to cultivate an environment where everyone can bring their most authentic self to work. We depend on our differences to make our team stronger, our workplace more dynamic, and our product accessible to all of our users.
