• Lead the development of methods of capturing and storing competitive information • Deliver timely, relevant, and actionable insights to support decision-making across strategy, research, and development teams • Develop and maintain effective communication vehicles to share competitive insights with internal stakeholders • Ensure timely and relevant updates on competitive trends through reports, dashboards, and presentations • Conduct and/or manage primary and secondary research to gather data on competitors and market trends • Transform raw data into actionable intelligence • Evaluate competitors' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) • Collaborate with internal teams • Analyze collected data to derive implications and actionable recommendations • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders • Partner with other research leaders and manage relationships with external vendors • Manage the budget for competitive intelligence activities
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in analytics, business, or a related field preferred (e.g., MBA)
- 7+ years of experience in related fields such as market research or business analytics
- Experience in competitive or market intelligence, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong ability to deliver presentations and insights to senior and mid-level leadership
- Experience in strategy/management consulting and/or equity analysis
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical market research and competitive analysis methodologies
- Advanced skills in market research, data collection, and analysis
- Expertise in market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships
