Role Description We're entering an exciting stage of growth as we establish a team in Taiwan. This is a unique opportunity to join as our contract recruiter in the region and play a critical role in shaping the team from the ground up. If you enjoy solving difficult searches, partnering closely with hiring managers, and helping build a company during an important stage of growth, we'd love to meet you. What You’ll Be Doing: - Build exceptional teams: Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and business roles in Taiwan, identifying and hiring the kind of talent that raises the bar across the company. - Solve difficult searches: When a search isn't working, rethink the strategy, challenge assumptions, and uncover exceptional candidates that others overlook. - Champion hiring excellence: Partner with hiring managers to define what great looks like, calibrate talent, and consistently make high-quality hiring decisions. - Be a trusted talent advisor: Share market insights, influence hiring strategy, and help leaders make informed hiring decisions throughout the search. - Create an exceptional candidate experience: Build genuine relationships with candidates and represent Instrumental with authenticity and professionalism. - Help build our Taiwan team: As our contract recruiter in the region, you'll play a key role in scaling our first Taiwan office and establishing the foundation for future growth. Requirements - This role probably isn't the right fit if you prefer recruiting only for companies with strong employer brands where candidates naturally come to you. - You rely primarily on inbound applicants instead of proactive sourcing. - You wait for direction when a search becomes challenging rather than trying new strategies. - You prefer highly structured environments over fast-moving, evolving teams. Benefits - This contract is 3-months to start at 75% hours, with an opportunity to extend as hiring ramps in Taiwan.
