The Central Billing Office is seeking to fill the position of Medical Insurance Verification Specialist. This position will be working fully remote, only after completing 8 weeks of training in-office at the CBO in Mesquite, TX. Responsibilities and Duties - Verifies all insurance coverage for upcoming patient appointments - Determines patient's responsibility if applicable electronically and/or by phone - Enters all insurance information clearly and accurately into medical billing system - Obtains referral and or authorization prior to scheduled appointment - Advises patient of their responsibility prior to scheduled appointments Qualifications Qualifications and Skills - High School Diploma - Medical billing experience, preferably in insurance verification - Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written - Proficient mathematical skills - Must be able to multitask - Must be self-motivated - Must be organized and detail-oriented - Must be a team player with a positive attitude Job Type: Full-time
