Role Description The Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for persistently following up on submitted insurance claims to ensure timely payment. This role focuses on monitoring claim status, proactively contacting insurance payers to push claims toward payment, and identifying issues that prevent payment. When issues are identified, the Specialist escalates findings to the Manager, Healthcare Accounts Receivable for resolution. The Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist will respond to internal and external medical customer inquiries related to claims in a timely manner. The role will work collaboratively with the other AbleNet staff to provide a continuous improvement of the medical claims collection process. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience - 2+ years of experience in claims follow-up work experience - 5+ years of experience accepted in lieu of education requirements Requirements - Proactively contact insurance payers via phone, portals, and written communication to check claims according to the framework outlined by leadership - “Nudge” or persistently follow up with payers on delayed, pending, or stalled claims to drive payment forward - Escalate identified claim issues to the Manager, Healthcare Accounts Receivable for investigation and resolution - Clearly document payer feedback, claim status updates, and identified issues in internal systems - Track claim aging and prioritize follow-up based on established timelines and payment targets - Ensure all follow-up activity is completed in accordance with payer requirements and internal workflows - Maintain awareness of payer turnaround times and escalation thresholds - Adhere to all practice policies related to HIPAA and Medicare Compliance - Contribute to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals - Perform backup support for other members of the team department - Effective communication with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers - Embrace AbleNet’s culture and 7 rules of engagement - All other duties as assigned Benefits - Standard Office Environment: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards - Full-Time, Exempt employees work an average of 40 hours per week. Role Description The Salesforce Data Cloud Architect will work with internal and external stakeholders in the direction of the Director, Business Systems Data and CRM Management to design, implement, and optimize AbleNet's Data Cloud environment. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for Data Cloud functionality, ensuring seamless data integration, harmonization, and activation across AbleNet's technology ecosystem. The Salesforce Data Cloud Architect will collaborate closely with Salesforce and Tableau teams to enable robust analytics and reporting capabilities. This role will be responsible for configuring and maintaining data streams, implementing segmentation strategies, and enabling actionable insights through Data Cloud while ensuring compliance with data governance standards and business requirements. Qualifications - Must have deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture, configuration, and best practices - Must be able to design and implement complex data integration solutions across multiple systems - Must have strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and identity resolution concepts - Must be able to translate business requirements into technical Data Cloud configurations - Must be able to work collaboratively with ERP, Salesforce, eCommerce, Analytics, Tableau, and Marketing stakeholders - Must have experience working with business intelligence and data visualization teams to enable effective reporting - Must be able to manage multiple projects/efforts simultaneously with competing priorities - Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical data issues independently - Must have high attention to detail and commitment to data quality standards - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Must be able to work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions - Must be self-motivated with ability to start tasks with minimal guidance and overcome challenges as encountered - Must have high level of understanding as it relates to escalation of issues to leadership Requirements - Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data science, or other relevant field - 4-6 years of related experience in Salesforce administration, data integration, or analytics - Required software experience: - Salesforce Data Cloud (required) - Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud) - Data integration and ETL tools - SQL and data querying languages - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) - Preferred software experience: - Tableau or other business intelligence/data visualization platforms - Experience with data preparation for analytics and reporting - Preferred certifications: - Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant - Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator - Other Salesforce certifications related to data and analytics Benefits - Internal Office Environment – Requires regular sitting or standing at a desk, consistent computer keyboarding and mouse use, and the ability to perform routine office tasks in a professional office setting. - Full-Time, exempt employees work an average of 40 hours per week.
