Role Description We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems built on Microsoft technology stacks. This role spans the full engineering lifecycle — requirements analysis, architectural design, hands-on implementation, code review, deployment, and post-release support — with particular emphasis on building scalable APIs, responsive front-end applications, and cloud-integrated services. The ideal candidate will combine strong backend expertise in C# and .NET Core with hands-on experience developing modern front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks, and will be comfortable deploying solutions into Azure or AWS environments while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, observability, and operational reliability. Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive end-to-end design, development, and advanced technical troubleshooting for enterprise-level web applications, from initial discovery through long-term operational ownership. - Develop secure, high-performance backend services using .NET Core and ASP.NET Web API, applying strong object-oriented design, clean architecture principles, and proven enterprise patterns. - Design and implement scalable architecture patterns — including microservices, service-oriented designs, and event-driven workflows — that support the demands of growing, distributed user bases. - Build modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks, ensuring excellent user experience, accessibility, and performance across browsers and devices. - Develop and optimize relational database schemas, stored procedures, indexes, and complex queries in SQL Server, with attention to performance, locking behavior, and long-term maintainability. - Produce thorough architecture and technical design documentation, ensuring alignment with performance, security, compliance, and operational standards of the enterprise. - Participate in system design discussions and ensure that development consistently aligns with enterprise architecture constraints, technology road-maps, and platform standards. - Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and modern identity management services such as Azure AD or Okta. - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration, automated builds, infrastructure-as-code practices, and reliable deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments. - Perform thorough root-cause analysis and methodically troubleshoot production issues, working to restore service quickly while ensuring long-term operational stability. - Identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and architectural gaps, and proactively propose and implement well-scoped improvements with measurable benefits. - Collaborate fully in Agile/Scrum environments — including planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives — to deliver incremental, high-quality releases on a predictable cadence. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, APIs, integration workflows, and operational runbooks so that the team can scale and onboard new engineers efficiently. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. - Five or more years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, design patterns, and end-to-end system design. - Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API, including familiarity with dependency injection, async/await patterns, and middleware design. - Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar component-driven frameworks. - Strong SQL skills with deep, hands-on experience working with SQL Server, including stored procedures, query plans, and performance tuning. - Solid experience with CI/CD tooling and Git-based version control systems, including branching strategies and release workflows. - Hands-on experience deploying applications to Azure or AWS cloud environments, including managed services and identity integration. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills, with the ability to investigate complex production issues calmly and effectively. - Experience working in large enterprise-scale environments where reliability, security, and audit-ability are first-class concerns. Preferred Qualifications - Practical experience designing and operating microservices architectures in production. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment patterns. - Exposure to distributed system design principles, including eventual consistency, idempotency, and circuit breakers. - Experience implementing automated testing frameworks across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels. - Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar DevOps platforms for pipeline orchestration and release management. • Operate and test our Linear Generator units after new site installations to allow seamless integration into Mainspring’s growing LGen fleet • Travel to customer sites and project locations to support new installations, site acceptance tests, and customer demonstrations • Enhance current commissioning procedures to improve testing efficiency and shorten timelines. • Troubleshoot and root cause operation issues with our linear generators in collaboration with other engineering teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Software & Controls • Work directly with our commissioning technicians to facilitate repairs, retrofits, and provide operational training on our generators • Analyze data, generate reports and communicate results from commissioning to our customers, internal project managers, and with engineering teams to facilitate learnings • Build and refine automation scripts, commissioning toolkits, and data-driven processes that streamline onboarding, testing, and fault recovery

• Develop highly scalable and reliable data systems for data centric products and services on an AWS cloud-based platform • Work closely with Data Science teams creating solutions incorporating Machine Learning algorithms and models using Python with Data Engineering libraries and tools • Deliver reliable and scalable data streaming application functionality • Diligently observe and maintain Standards for Regulatory Compliance and Information Security • Without fail deliver and maintain accurate, complete and current documentation • Contribute to and promote full Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, code reviews and design sessions • Lead, mentor and collaborate with other team members • Collaborate and contribute with architecture, product and design decisions to deliver superior functionality and quality • Timely delivery of documented and tested software to the platform software engineering team • Own deliverables from ideation to production operationalization • May telecommute

• Assist with software development using Python to design and build available, scalable, and secure back-end web services and APIs for a variety of legal and intellectual property stakeholders, including software for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook • Assist in the management and troubleshooting of production systems and refactoring of existing applications to improve business processes • Implement systems designs and software design patterns to write maintainable, testable, and robust software and services • Integrate with third-party APIs, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting API connections to ensure seamless interoperability between systems • Manage and troubleshoot distributed systems and services in a production environment
