Job Requirements

  • Experience in Python, Pyspark, SAS/SQL and reporting tools like Tableau
  • Experience using AWS across the ML lifecycle
  • Strong written/oral communication skills

Collaboration and colleague engagement will be essential across all aspects of your work, including submission setup, modeling, actuarial analysis, legal review, and referrals to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities You will: Participate in shaping the strategic direction and P&L performance of the US Property Hybrid Solutions portfolio. Underwrite and manage business on an ongoing basis in accordance with established guidelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional reinsurance brokers. Prospect, cultivate, and produce new business opportunities. Work closely with global leadership to support overall strategy, portfolio and aggregate management, underwriting appetite, guidelines, and budget deliverables. Represent Everest at broker and client industry conferences and events, leveraging existing relationships while developing new ones. Collaborate with line underwriters and product divisions to deliver a One Everest, client-centric approach. Provide tailored (re)insurance solutions and broader risk management support for complex client risks and challenges. Contribute to annual business and marketing plans, increasing brand and product awareness across the broker market. Expand and enhance the product offering to ensure Everest remains competitive with market leaders. Qualifications, Education & Experience You bring: A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of insurance or reinsurance underwriting experience; reinsurance, portfolio management, or program underwriting experience is strongly preferred. Experience analyzing and interpreting reinsurance contract terms and conditions. Strong marketing capabilities to develop and sustain broker and intermediary relationships.
