Enable high-impact technology transactions that drive enterprise adoption of cloud and AI-powered communication platforms. This role partners directly with sales and business leaders to structure, negotiate, and close strategic agreements that influence revenue growth, customer success, and long-term partnerships across North America. You will operate at the intersection of legal strategy and commercial execution, ensuring risk is managed without slowing business momentum. The position offers strong exposure to complex enterprise deals, evolving regulatory landscapes, and opportunities to expand influence across the organization. - Lead negotiation and execution of cloud, SaaS, and software licensing agreements to support revenue growth and customer success. - Structure and advise on commercial transactions, including reseller, partner, and distribution agreements, to enable scalable business outcomes. - Provide strategic legal guidance to sales and business teams, balancing risk mitigation with commercial objectives. - Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders including sales, finance, marketing, and product to ensure efficient deal execution. - Develop and implement contract templates, playbooks, and standards to improve speed, consistency, and scalability. - Apply knowledge of data privacy, data security, and AI regulations to support compliant and forward-looking transactions. - Support dispute resolution and pre-litigation strategies to protect business interests and continuity. - Maintain corporate governance, compliance records, and legal documentation to ensure operational integrity. Qualifications - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in a US State or Territory. - 4+ years of legal experience, including a combination of law firm and in-house commercial legal work. - Strong expertise in commercial and contract law, with experience negotiating cloud, SaaS, and technology agreements. - Proven experience in customer-facing legal roles supporting sales or deal desk functions. - Working knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks impacting cloud computing, data privacy, and artificial intelligence. - Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal issues independently with strong judgment and decision-making skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced contract drafting capabilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting enterprise software, telecommunications, or customer experience technology organizations. - Familiarity with global contracting, including reseller, partner, and distribution channel agreements. - Exposure to international legal frameworks and cross-border transactions. - Experience improving contracting processes, templates, and legal operations at scale. Compensation This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
