Technical Writer

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, training materials, process documentation, and help content. • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy. • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. • Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and standards to ensure consistency. • Research and compile information from multiple sources to create comprehensive content. • Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness. • Manage documentation repositories and ensure content remains current and relevant. • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver documentation on schedule. • Gather feedback from internal and external audiences to continuously improve documentation quality. • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical communication.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Preferred certifications:
  • Certified Technical Writer (CTW)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and professional documentation.
  • Experience working with technical subject matter and communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation management tools.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and technical concepts is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
