Job Description
QA Engineer
SimSpace
• Perform manual and exploratory testing across web applications, APIs, backend services, and end-to-end workflows to validate functionality and identify defects. • Create clear, organized test plans and detailed test cases that provide thorough coverage for new features, enhancements, and regression testing. • Identify edge cases, integration gaps, usability concerns, and failure scenarios by thinking critically about how systems behave under real-world conditions. • Write detailed, reproducible bug reports that enable engineering teams to quickly understand, prioritize, and resolve issues. • Reproduce, investigate, and help diagnose customer-reported issues by working closely with engineers to isolate root causes. • Collaborate with engineering teams early in the development process to improve feature testability and reduce quality risks before implementation. • Support release readiness by executing regression testing, validating fixes, and ensuring product quality prior to deployment. • Leverage modern testing tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve test design, increase coverage, and enhance overall testing efficiency.
