Technical Lead

• Translate user stories and business needs into clear, well-structured functional requirements and technical specifications for development teams • Design web service interfaces and produce detailed API specifications, covering service operations, request/response structures, field types, and edge-case conditions • Investigate, test, and triage defects, then help coordinate and plan releases for the Integration Systems team • Act as the connective tissue between technical and non-technical teams — facilitating discussions and keeping integration and web service work moving forward • Produce thoughtful assessments and estimates covering scope, assumptions, risks, and effort to support planning and resourcing • Champion data integrity and customer experience, spotting opportunities for process and performance improvements • Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver on shared objectives
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and supporting applications on a BSS/OSS COTS platform (e.g., NetCracker)
- 5+ years developing complex enterprise applications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with core Java
- 5+ years writing and performance-tuning complex PL/SQL queries
- 3+ years building REST APIs
- 3+ years working with cloud-based development
- Solid grasp of microservices architecture principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing
- Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, including service, release, and change management
- Comfortable leading root cause analysis, risk assessment/mitigation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
