IT Infrastructure Engineer – Network
iRhythm Technologies, Inc.
• Responsible for the design, build, and support of corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony, and systems • Implement observable, secure, and fault-tolerant solutions • Provide technical leadership, support, and direction across multiple teams and domains • Serve as an internal escalation point for day-to-day operations • Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape • Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects • Device lifecycle support – Vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, decommission • Mentor less senior staff • Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution • Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise • Support global operations for remote, manufacturing, and iRhythm Office-based workforces
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, or Juniper Equipment and software
- Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory
- Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure)
- Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Experience with patch deployment required
- Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus
- Experience with ITIL a plus
- Experience with Linux a plus
- Minimum AA degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
- Cisco Certification a plus
- AWS/Azure Certifications a plus
- Networking certifications preferred

• Evolving the AI knowledge platform - taking the retrieval, indexing, and synthesis layer (currently semantic RAG + re-ranking + HyDE) to an organization-wide platform serving both internal engineering tools and customer-facing capabilities. • Architecting and operating agentic infrastructure on AWS - multi-step, tool-using AI systems that plan, retrieve, and act on complex queries and operational events, with cost guardrails and observability built in from day one. • Designing and building graph-based, relationship-aware retrieval across the organization's data sources, enabling multi-hop queries and letting agents accumulate organizational knowledge over time. This is on our roadmap, not in production - you will define the approach. • Partnering with product engineering to define the AI platform API surface, translating infrastructure primitives into developer-ready abstractions. • Building reference agent implementations on the platform - operational-incident triage, customer support, and future agentic use cases - grounding each agent's reasoning in institutional knowledge. • Owning the AI infrastructure cost model: monitoring compute, model, and storage spend, flagging anomalies, and proposing guardrails to keep workloads within defined budgets.
