Role Description Focus Partners Wealth is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our team! The Tax Senior Associate is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, and ensuring compliance for high-net-worth individuals, families, and related entities. This role partners with internal teams on tax research and planning, assists in staff development, and helps communicate tax updates to clients. The ideal candidate has experience with individual and entity tax returns, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. - Tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and their related entities; - Performing first reviews on certain individual and fiduciary returns; - Ensuring compliance with all federal and state filing requirements on behalf of clients; - Acting as a resource to business management teams for tax planning, tax research, and ongoing education of tax-related developments; - Assisting Tax Managers with regularly educating permanent and seasonal tax preparation staff; - Assisting with communicating relevant tax developments to clients through newsletters, social media, and/or other communications. Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years’ relevant experience; - A demonstrated focus on preparing individual, fiduciary, partnership and S-corp tax returns with a primary focus on high-net-worth individuals and families; - Superb written and verbal communication skills; strong problem solving, technology, communication and organizational skills; - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and proven ability to learn other technology; - Notable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management; - Ability to work individually and in a team atmosphere; - The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, during busy season. Requirements - CPA, CPA candidate or EA granting the ability to represent clients before the IRS; - Experience preparing multi-state returns; - Experience with ProSystem fx® Tax, CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Engagement and BNA Income Tax™ Planner. Benefits - The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000 - $100,000 per year base salary compensation range; - Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set; - The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package; - Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).

Role Description The Relocation Tax Specialist provides technical leadership to all clients who are being implemented to the Expense Management Processes, including decisions on transferee gross up benefits, ongoing communication of relevant payroll data, and management reporting of relocation program costs. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Provides Tax Leadership to Sirva relative to tax aspects of client relocation programs. - Responsible for the accurate calculation of gross ups and taxability reporting to clients. - Stays current on Tax Law changes and ensures that all CF payroll reporting is compliant and accurate. - Coordinates payroll tax reconciliations, true ups, and the timely issuance of RTR's for US. - Responds to queries from Sirva Associates, Clients, and Transferees regarding tax gross-up and financial reporting. - Coordinates and works with client’s tax partners and our own compensation team to report the global payroll information. - Responsible for auditing payroll reporting and financial reporting to clients. - Recommends changes to systems and training processes to improve accuracy, clarity, and efficiency. - Provides subject matter expert leadership to implement new clients. - Works directly with clients to provide expert guidance in deciding upon tax assistance options to achieve relocation reimbursement objectives. - Creates payroll and management reporting to meet Client needs. - Serves as key liaison with Sirva's IT department for special client needs such as interfaces into client’s systems. - Works directly with CF Manager and Analyst(s) to launch the Client into the CF Process. - Provides tax assistance training and support to CF Analysts and Associates in creating ad hoc reports as well as training on system-related topics. - Reviews results for data integrity, ensuring quality, clarity, and accuracy of presentation. - Partners with CF managers in driving efficiencies through the implementation of automation processes and standardization of invoicing and financial reporting to clients. - Provides leadership within Sirva’s tax reporting software. Qualifications - 3+ years of financial experience. - Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of financial and auditing principles and guidelines. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to work successfully in a team and deadline-driven environment. - Strong customer service skills. - Global payroll experience preferred. Requirements - Position Title: Relocation Tax Specialist 2. - Salary Range: $61,000-$65,000 USD.
