• Configurar, desplegar y poner en marcha nuevas infraestructuras y servicios de red. • Administrar y optimizar redes L3 en entornos ISP y clientes finales. • Actuar como punto de escalamiento N3 para incidencias complejas. • Analizar y determinar cuándo una incidencia requiere escalamiento a fabricantes. • Participar en la definición y mejora continua de la arquitectura de red. • Ejecutar cambios programados y tareas críticas durante ventanas de mantenimiento. • Colaborar con fabricantes y proveedores internacionales. • Participar progresivamente en guardias on-call tras el período de adaptación.
Job Requirements
- Entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en redes, idealmente en proveedores de servicios ISP.
- Conocimientos avanzados en BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, Multicast y direccionamiento IP.
- Experiencia en servicios IP Transit, Peerings, EVPN, LAN, WAN y WLAN.
- Dominio de CLI (Command Line Interface).
- Experiencia en entornos multivendor como Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Fortinet, Mikrotik u otros.
- Experiencia con herramientas de monitorización y gestión como Zabbix, LibreNMS, Dude, Jira u osTicket.
- Inglés técnico para documentación, comunicación y reuniones con fabricantes.

Role Description In the Network Specialist I - OSP Construction role, you are responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising outside plant field construction and splicing operations in multiple locations and states. You will be expected to work closely with representatives from Network Operations, associate managers, consultants, design engineers, and construction contractors for TDS Telecom Network Services to ensure that the needs of the company are being met. Responsibilities include: - Overseeing numerous construction projects, possibly located in multiple locations and states. - Monitoring costs and job progress to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. - Working with various governmental agencies to protect the TDS OSP network from being jeopardized by proposed road improvements. - Negotiating with municipalities and other utility companies for the purchase, lease, and/or sale of inner ducts, fiber, and/or complete networks. - Providing technical support for special request projects such as major road moves or potential on-net builds. - Conducting audits of OSP projects and coaching consultants and/or contractors to ensure accuracy and consistency. - Reviewing all required reports from field personnel and contractor invoicing for accuracy. - Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and other departments. - Conducting pre-staking, pre-bid, and pre-construction meetings as required. - Verifying that all documentation required to complete projects successfully is complete.
