Study Start Up Associate

• Facilitate the initiation of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements • Deliver site start-up and activation work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as clinical trial applications and ethics committee submissions • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and authorizations for study initiation • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of regulatory submissions and approvals • Support study teams in the development of study documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, and investigator brochures • Participate in study start-up meetings and provide input on regulatory requirements and timelines
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field
- Previous experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)

• Interacts professionally and proactively with staff to facilitate donor engagement and meetings, especially through administrative processes for frontline staff. • Manages projects as assigned by the AVC and Director of Campaign Administration and Board Relations that span the development team through organizing information, deadlines and projects, as needed. • Creates presentations, executive briefings, meeting agendas, reports and other materials. • Assists in the planning, staffing and execution of events such as, board meetings, donor lunches, tours, etc. as needed. • Occasionally makes cold calls and visits to expand our constituent outreach efforts. • Follows processes, and procedures for updating donor records in the CRM system of record. • Inputs contact reports and other information in the system in a timely manner and following protocols to ensure the integrity of donor records and to record relevant historical information. • Learns and practices HIPPA and FERPA laws and is knowledgeable of updates and changes to each throughout employment; also understands the Donor Bill of Rights and respects the agreement between donors and the institution accordingly. • Other duties as assigned.
