Pricing Associate, Fine Jewelry and Watches
The RealReal
• Evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based on current business and competitive market dynamics • Perform rigorous data analysis to develop and inform demand forecasts and pricing strategies in partnership with the Merchant team • Identify, implement, and lead coordination of educational and pricing initiatives for internal teams • Perform ad hoc and competitive analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and aged product re-pricing actions to drive sales • Collaborate daily with the Merchandising and Planning teams to manage category KPIs, set velocity targets, and push the business forward • Deliver weekly performance insights and strategic context for weekly business reviews, as well as comprehensive monthly category summaries • Partner with Business Intelligence, Copy Editing, Site Merchandising, Quality Control, and Product Management on day-to-day operations, testing feedback, and strategic projects • Leverage financial acumen to analyze sales performance, run scenarios, and revise forecasts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 3-4+ years of proven success in merchandise planning, financial planning, strategy or business analytics
- Prior experience pricing and evaluating branded and non-branded fine jewelry and watches
- Very proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced ability in Excel; experience with G Suite a plus
- Strong Analytical, Merchandise Planning, Financial Modeling, & Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to handle multiple work streams with proven success in analyzing large data sets related to a wide variety of business problems
- Comfortable and confident making data driven recommendations
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
