As technical support to the global Sales and Marketing team, you will be expected to help achieve or exceed our established regional and territory sales targets by enabling the sales team’s to provide technical USP’s and positioning in customer facing events and communications, hereunder set up all global marketing support and demo field trials according to Sales and Marketing needs. The primary responsibilities of this role •Plan and Execute field scale cross comparative product testing programs of commercial or soon to be commercial products for new product launches and in support of marketing materials vis-à-vis agronomic positioning •Assist Sales and Marketing staff at conferences and local field day events with technical consulting, hereunder also assisting with event planning •Assist the Sales Leads in providing external customer sales training via your technical support •Work with sales team to achieve local business objectives through technical support, consultation and training; •Give distribution/dealer support •Develop and instill confidence in product recommendations and programs •Provide sales and business support; •Create annual Agronomy Business Plan for communication/alignment with Sales Team with strategies and prioritized activities to achieve business objectives; •Plan and execute tactics to support identified business strategies and objectives; •Participate actively in local portfolio management and future year forecasting; •Assume Sales Team project leadership role(s); •Build profile as technical expert in territories •Build presence and credibility with key growers,crop consultants and other key third party stakeholders and distribution partners; Required Qualifications: Salary Range: $110,000-150,000 USD Greenlight Biosciences Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in agronomy or agriculture
- 3-5 years experience in agronomic sales or sales support, international experience preferred, strong focus on specialty fruits & vegetables (e.g. grapes, berries, applies, tree-nuts, citrus) a must
- Language abilities (e.g. Spanish, German, Portuguese)
