• Analyze access to information requests, contact clients, review files and send them to the requester. • Analyze subrogation requests, contact clients or their representatives and ensure collections. • Ensure that the laws in effect are applied when processing access to information and subrogation requests. • Complete preparatory work for legal proceedings. • Take charge of subpoenas. • Carry out benefit payments in the core business system.
Job Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience with life and health insurance claims
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

• Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on customers' basic biomedical equipment. • Drives customer satisfaction through service excellence. • Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and as assigned, perform PM and safety/environmental inspections. • Assist more experienced technicians on basic and more complex repairs/resolution. • Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues. • Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and completes necessary documentation. • Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow up, leading to strong customer relations and ongoing customer satisfaction. • Implement GE/customer facility contract and supports business goals/objectives. • Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area. • Share on-call responsibility when trained. • Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. • Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and ensure calibration. • Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction. • Understand and utilize sources of help (i.e., manuals, tech support, Facetime app, online resources).
