Maintenance Technician – Exterior Grounds
EMCOR Group, Inc.
• Assist with routine landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and weed-eating. • Maintain cleanliness and safety of sidewalks, parking lots, curbs, ditch banks, and exterior walkways. • Perform debris removal, litter pickup, and general grounds cleanup. • Support tree trimming, brush clearing, and seasonal grounds work as directed. • Assist with basic irrigation system maintenance and inspections. • Help with pressure washing of sidewalks, buildings, and exterior surfaces. • Assist with minor hardscape and concrete repairs. • Safely operate hand tools and basic landscaping equipment; operate larger equipment under supervision as trained. • Assist with exterior building maintenance tasks such as inspections, minor repairs, and appearance upkeep. • Accurately complete timesheets, paid time off requests, and required documentation.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, maintenance, or outdoor labor preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn landscaping, hardscape, and exterior maintenance skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license preferred (required for certain equipment operations).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
