• Partner closely with Product and Design, leveraging a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools to explore Growth solutions across our mobile and web apps • Work closely with the team to ensure strong technical decision-making grounded in product context, setting us up for continued success implementing new growth and monetization strategies • Take a hands-on approach to delivery management, ensuring the backlog is healthy, maintenance and tech debt work are scheduled, and work is broken down appropriately, in a timely manner • Coach and develop your team, investing in individuals while keeping team health top-of-mind
Job Requirements
- 4+ years experience leading engineering teams in close partnership with Product and Design, working iteratively with a deep focus on customer outcomes
- Strong analytical focus and comfort working through tricky A/B testing and data attribution challenges, ideally in a Growth domain
- Experience building highly available third-party integrations that process high-volume data, ideally in a subscription domain
- Experience leading consumer-facing development work focused on native apps using iterative, learning-focused agile methodologies
- Strong technical and product judgment: you can frame engineering investments as business outcomes and bring that perspective into cross-functional planning and roadmap discussions
- Experience developing high-trust engineering teams through mentorship and coaching: you set clear goals, context, and decision-making frameworks while empowering engineers to own technical execution and tradeoff discussions
- Knowledge of common patterns and software engineering and best practices: you’ve worked with high-traffic mobile applications and know how to build for scale, balancing speed, quality, and safety
