Senior Field Service Specialist

Role Description In this exciting opportunity as a Senior Field Service Specialist you will be the primary technical liaison for Medtronic CAS customers. As a technical support avenue for the CAS Clinical Field and Sales team, you will be completely responsible for the technical assessment, installation, support, servicing, and maintenance of the Affera mapping and ablation equipment. You will interface closely with the Field Service team and the Sales team to coordinate resources to best satisfy sites and with Quality, Production and Engineering to feedback technical information about our products learned in the field. You will be part of the Iberia's Service & Repair team and you will work closely with colleagues from the other regions. For this remote role you will cover Spain & Portugal, but also other Western European markets and you will be located in Barcelona. There may be requirements to attend a Medtronic location within Western Europe for meetings from time to time. - Perform site assessments, installations, inspections, verifications, corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure successful implementations of Affera equipment - Maintain and submit technical records as per regulatory requirements - Input to technical knowledge base and dissemination of knowledge of our products to Sales and Clinical teams - Input to service processes to ensure continual improvement and evolution of the Field Service organization, including the development and maintenance of Service documentation and procedures - Participate in the development and delivery of technical training to our distributors, partners, agents and technically qualified representatives of customer base - Facilitate the smooth transfer of new products into commercial launch by participating in all stages of the design transfer into commercial production Qualifications - Technical education, such as a degree in biomedical engineering, or similar background - Around 5 years’ experience in field engineering maintenance in medical devices, robotics, radiology, or other highly regulated environments (medical devices desirable) - A strong working knowledge in Spanish and English - Ability to troubleshoot problems and technically diagnose medical equipment - Flexibility to travel frequently – the majority of the role will be traveling - The ability to communicate in other EU languages is a definite asset - Experience in Electrophysiology/Cath Labs ideally with mapping/navigation systems is highly desirable Benefits - Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package - A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values - Wide range of benefits, resources, and competitive compensation plans designed to support you at every career and life stage - Pay range: Spain: 49,440.00 EUR - 74,160.00 EUR - This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP)

• Data Center Service Technicians travel to customer sites to start up, commission and safely troubleshoot and repair Data Center equipment. • This position requires the ability to work independently, and candidates should have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Requires some ability to manage the projects while onsite for start-up commissioning and coordination of other trades and services. • Perform factory start-up, commissioning, warranty and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems. • Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property. • Respond in a timely manner to all requests for service from customers or management. • Provide customer training on Munters equipment. • Provide technical feedback on equipment using detailed field service reports. • Understand that Field Service’s major role is one of instant response to customers’ needs and focus as a part of a team always makes us available to our customer needs, urgent or otherwise.
• Installs equipment and associated machinery as required by customer to interface with new or existing production line equipment. • Performs ring-out, reliable controls level calibration, commissioning troubleshooting and acceptance protocol ensuring equipment performs to specification. • Performs PLC and HMI programming logic independently and/or with Engineering for customer equipment installs, repairs and general maintenance. • Span of Equipment product knowledge includes at least four primary categories and can perform job duties equally well during installations, service calls or PM / Audits. • Demonstrate proficient understanding of primary categories of machinery, components, control systems, PLC programs - and overall sub-system interactions of Alliance equipment and can perform PM / Audits. • Trains customer personnel on equipment functions, safety features to include safe working techniques, machine operation, operator interface devices, service requirements, accessibility, spare parts, and use of the operations manual. • Independently travel to customer sites to perform equipment service, installation work, and training - demonstrating a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of customer service.
