Senior HR Generalist
Vista
• Act as the first point of contact for team members, answering queries regarding HR policies • Provide advice and guidance to line management on employee-related matters • Proactively identify employee relations trends or themes and leverage data to tell the story • Manage and maintain employee files in compliance with German labor law • Drive the onboarding process for new hires and lead offboarding processes • Prepare payroll-related data, tracking absences and managing governmental applications • Establish and maintain reporting and metrics to analyze topics like sickness data • Support the further development of HR processes and find new ways to automate and scale HR operations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a focus in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of professional working experience (preferably as an HR Generalist, or in Employee Relations and HR administration)
- Previous working experience in the application of German employment law and HR compliance
- Previous working experience in a multinational, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to advise and coach managers in a variety of complex situations
- Ability to establish trust and credibility, handling confidential personal data
- Fluent in both English and German (native-level German preferred)
