Product Manager, Procore Platform and Construction Technology

Greystar

Title: Product Manager, Procore Platform & Construction Technology Location: United States Job Description: ABOUT GREYSTAR Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform offering expertise in property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, Greystar manages and operates over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally with offices throughout North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Greystar is the largest operator of apartments in the United States, managing over one million units/beds globally. Across its platforms, Greystar has nearly $79 billion of assets under management, including over $35 billion of development assets and over $36.5 billion of regulatory assets under management. Greystar was founded by Bob Faith in 1993 to become a provider of world-class service in the rental residential real estate business. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Greystar is the largest operator of apartments in the United States and a globally recognized real estate investment manager. Our construction and development business operates at significant scale across multiple markets, and Procore is the platform that ties it together - from project management and field execution to financial tools, compliance, and ERP integration. We are looking for a Product Manager who knows Procore deeply and is ready to own it. This is not a pure administration role - you will be the primary product owner for Procore at Greystar, partnering with our Senior Director to define and execute the platform roadmap, drive adoption across teams, manage ERP integrations with Oracle and Yardi, and build the reporting capabilities that give leadership visibility into construction performance. You will bring platform expertise on day one and grow your understanding of Greystar's business and the real estate industry over time. JOB DESCRIPTION WHAT YOU'LL DO Platform Ownership - Serve as the primary Procore platform owner at Greystar - owning configuration, administration, user management, permissions, and governance across all active modules. - Partner with the Senior Director to define and prioritize the Procore product roadmap, bringing forward user feedback, platform gaps, and enhancement opportunities with a clear point of view on business impact. - Drive platform adoption across construction, development, and project management teams - proactively identifying underutilized capabilities, running training sessions, and helping teams get more value from what's already built. - Stay current on Procore's product releases, evaluate new features and modules, and make recommendations on adoption with a clear rationale tied to Greystar's workflows and priorities. - Explore and evaluate Procore's emerging AI and agent capabilities, identifying opportunities to embed automation and intelligence into construction workflows. Integrations & Data - Own the day-to-day health of ERP integrations between Procore and Oracle and Yardi - monitoring exception reporting, identifying data issues, diagnosing root causes, and working with engineering on resolution. - Develop a working understanding of how data flows between Procore and connected systems - not writing the code, but knowing the logic well enough to identify what breaks, why, and what the fix should be. - Contribute to integration improvement initiatives by surfacing recurring issues, documenting patterns, and bringing requirements to engineering clearly and completely. - Build Power BI proof-of-concept reports and dashboards that surface construction performance, project status, financial data, and workflow metrics - working with the team to connect the right data sources. Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with construction, development, finance, and operations stakeholders to understand workflow needs and translate them into platform configurations, process improvements, and roadmap inputs. - Communicate platform changes, enhancements, and outages clearly to affected teams - managing expectations and minimizing disruption. - Collaborate with the LEM Systems Analyst on your team where Procore workflows intersect with legal entity and document management processes. - Maintain platform documentation, user guides, and governance standards to support consistent and compliant usage across Greystar's global portfolio. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years of experience in a Procore administration, product ownership, systems analyst, or construction technology role. - Deep, hands-on Procore platform experience across multiple modules - Project Management, Financial Tools, Field Tools, Directory, or similar. You know how it works and you know where it breaks. - Demonstrated ability to own a platform product beyond administration - you have brought forward improvement ideas, driven adoption, and connected platform decisions to business outcomes. - Experience working with ERP integrations - you understand data flows between Procore and financial or operational systems and can monitor, troubleshoot, and communicate on them effectively. - Familiarity with Power BI or comparable BI tools - able to build working proof-of-concept reports independently, even if not production-grade. - Strong analytical instincts - you dig into exception reports, find the pattern, and surface what matters without being asked. - Clear, direct communicator - comfortable working with construction field teams, finance stakeholders, and engineering teams and translating effectively across all three. - Self-motivated and curious - you want to understand how things work at a deeper level than your job requires, and you pursue that independently. - Comfortable with ambiguity and a changing roadmap - Greystar moves fast and priorities shift. You adapt without losing momentum. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with Procore's AI or agent capabilities and an interest in how automation can improve construction workflows. - Familiarity with Oracle or Yardi in a real estate, development, or investment management context. - Experience with Power Platform or Power Automate for workflow automation alongside Procore. - Procore certification or formal Procore training credentials. - Prior experience supporting a multi-market or global construction and development portfolio. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $155,000 USD Annually. #LI-BB1 #LI-Remote Additional Compensation: Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location. - Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance. - Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
