Job Description

Strategic Account Manager

Goway Travel

• Maximize revenue within your portfolio of preferred partner accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts at both head office and travel advisor levels • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for all key accounts • Negotiate annual preferred agreements, including setting business goals, marketing strategies, and growth targets • Prepare and implement a comprehensive Sales Plan, including monthly call patterns, participation in area trade shows (with anticipated costs), and other sales activities • Accurately document all sales-related activities in Goway’s CRM (Salesforce) • Conduct monthly analysis of account performance and marketing ROI, and monitor relevant industry updates • Conduct sales calls, attend trade shows, and deliver destination or agency presentations as required • Submit monthly business and expense reports, as well as Staff Travel Forms when necessary • Provide ongoing feedback to the Director of Sales and USA National Account Manager regarding customer service and any field issues • Participate in special projects on an ad hoc basis • Represent Goway at national shows, conferences, and events

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years B2B travel industry experience in a similar role
  • University degree preferred
  • Strong contracting and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Results-driven with a strong sales focus
  • Positive, proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
