WHO YOU ARE - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - 3–6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role. - Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets. - Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based & international stakeholders. - Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements. - Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar) and an interest in applying them to improve productivity, financial analysis, and reporting workflows. - Experience with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Pigment, or similar platforms is preferred. - Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and BI tools such as Domo, Looker, Tableau, or Sigma is a plus. - Experience in SaaS, technology, or another subscription-based business is preferred. - Exposure to recurring revenue metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, retention, bookings, or similar operating metrics is preferred. - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset. • Execute loan-level quality reviews across secured lending originations, assessing documentation completeness, underwriting accuracy, eligibility adherence, collateral quality, and other salability criteria. • Pull, organize, and analyze portfolio performance data, including early payment defaults, delinquency trends, prepayment rates, loss severity, exception patterns, and other asset quality indicators. • Maintain recurring asset quality and salability risk reporting packages for bank partners, Capital Markets, and internal leaders, including data pulls, analysis, formatting, and quality checks. • Execute first-line model performance tracking — maintaining production model tracking tools, logging override and exception trends, tracking version changes, and independently flagging patterns that may indicate performance degradation or out-of-bounds behavior for escalation. • Maintain issue logs, defect trackers, remediation updates, and documentation libraries so records stay current, organized, and ready for bank partner or regulatory review. • Drive governance and exam readiness deliverables — independently assembling evidence packages, populating reporting templates, and coordinating materials for bank partner reviews, committee deliverables, and regulatory examinations.

Role Description The Commercial Loan Analyst will conduct credit evaluations and analyze complex and diverse credit information for companies and industries. The position performs a variety of tasks that include: - Analyzing loan requests, including borrower information, financial statements, collateral, and tax returns for new and existing loans. - Assisting underwriter in preparation of credit memorandum and credit review. - Performing site visits and member interviews for new loans and annual reviews. - Cultivating and retaining business member accounts through effective customer service. - Assisting in training of additional staff. - Treating all co-workers and members with respect. - Supporting, participating, and volunteering in credit union member community activities, member relations, and events that promote member-centric experiences. - Representing the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner. - Other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to conducting forecast analysis, preparing credit memorandums for review, and providing support to the loan officers. - Maintaining member and other sensitive information with confidentiality. Qualifications - 3 years of commercial loan analysis experience with a financial institution. - Experience with commercial lending analysis software. - Working knowledge and proficiency with commercial lending analysis software. - Good understanding of NCUA regulations in Business Services. - Proficient with PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Good organization and member service skills required. - Strong analytical skills and decisive decision-making skills. - Maintain confidentiality in all credit union matters.
