Engineering Team Lead

Chainstack 🛠️💙

• Lead a team of engineers building a platform to manage and scale blockchain infrastructure. • Oversee systems that handle authentication, rate limiting, request routing, and data access across multiple blockchain networks. • Design off-chain data storage solutions and APIs for internal and external consumers. • Collaborate cross-functionally to align engineering output with product and infrastructure goals. • Mentor and support team members through regular 1:1s, technical feedback, and growth planning. • Participate in hiring and shaping team culture. • Balance leadership and technical contributions—whether hands-on or in a guiding capacity.

Job Requirements

  • Proven engineering leadership experience — at least 1 year leading backend or infrastructure teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Go, with hands-on experience in building production-grade systems.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and high-availability architectures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (or Nomad) for container orchestration in production.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with web/application servers, databases, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to guide teams in a fully remote environment.
  • Nice to have Experience with backend Python or frontend JavaScript development.
