Senior Portfolio Management Specialist

LMI

Role Description LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Portfolio Management Specialist to support Army logistics portfolio management through strategic planning, portfolio analysis, resource integration, performance management, and executive decision support. Successfully demonstrate competency in project execution, client delivery, critical thinking, and relationship management while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. - Support Army logistics portfolio management through strategic planning, portfolio analysis, program integration, and executive decision support. - Conduct research and analysis to evaluate portfolio performance, organizational priorities, investment strategies, and emerging issues. - Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze information from multiple data sources to support executive decision-making and portfolio recommendations. - Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and other written communications supporting Army logistics portfolio initiatives. - Support portfolio planning, governance, prioritization, and resource integration activities across multiple programs and initiatives. - Coordinate activities and recommendations across multiple Army organizations and stakeholders to support enterprise portfolio management objectives. - Monitor portfolio activities, milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items to ensure timely execution and alignment with organizational priorities. - Facilitate meetings, governance boards, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions. - Synthesize complex operational, financial, and analytical information into actionable recommendations that improve portfolio performance and organizational effectiveness. - Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to support leadership visibility and informed decision making. - Support strategic planning, investment analysis, portfolio assessments, and enterprise modernization initiatives, as required. - Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required. - Perform additional consulting, analytical, and project support activities as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, Logistics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. - Ten or more years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, portfolio management, program management, DoD, or other complex Government organizations. - Experience supporting portfolio management, strategic planning, organizational analysis, governance activities, or program integration. - Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms. - Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, actionable recommendations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations. - Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments. - Available for occasional travel. - This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Requirements - Advanced degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, Finance, Logistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. - Ten plus years of experience supporting Army logistics portfolio management or other DoD organizations. - Experience supporting headquarters-level portfolio management, strategic planning, governance, resource integration, or enterprise modernization initiatives. - Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, executive reporting, portfolio analytics, or data visualization products. - Familiarity with business process improvement, workflow modernization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives. - Experience facilitating governance boards, cross-functional working groups, and stakeholder engagements. - Excellent research, writing, briefing, and staff coordination skills. Benefits - Targeted Salary Range: $90,000-$135,000 - The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. - Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
