Mid/Senior Java Developer
GFT Technologies
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot; • Design and implement scalable solutions following software architecture and design patterns; • Develop integrations and event-driven communication flows using Kafka (consumer and producer); • Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using AWS CDK and service stacks; • Work with MongoDB, ensuring performance, security, and scalability; • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment, participating in meetings in Spanish; • Contribute to the technical evolution of solutions, promoting development and architectural best practices; • Support training and technical development of teams, when necessary; • Use artificial intelligence tools and resources to optimize processes and solutions;
Job Requirements
- Advanced Spanish for speaking, writing, and comprehension;
- Strong experience in backend development with Java;
- Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot;
- Experience with MongoDB;
- Knowledge of TypeScript;
- Proficiency in design patterns;
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architecture using Kafka;
- Knowledge of Confluent Kafka Streams and ksqlDB;
- Experience with AWS CDK and building services using stacks;
- Experience in microservices architecture and development;
- Functional knowledge of the Insurance sector, especially Life insurance lines;
- Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or team training;
- Experience working on international or multicultural projects;
- Hands-on experience using AI tools applied to software development;
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture and cloud-native solutions;
