Job Description

Business Development Representative

Indivieu, LLC.

Role Description We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative who can create conversations, generate qualified opportunities, and book meetings with business owners and decision-makers. This is an early-stage, ground-floor opportunity. You will not be stepping into a mature inbound pipeline or rigid corporate sales system. You will have the opportunity to help shape the messaging, targeting, and outbound processes that become the foundation of Indivieu’s revenue engine. Your primary responsibility will be generating qualified discovery meetings for Indivieu’s service, consulting, and future software offerings. You will: - Build targeted prospect lists across Indivieu’s priority industries and verticals - Conduct outbound outreach through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels - Start conversations with business owners and key decision-makers - Qualify prospects based on fit, need, authority, and potential opportunity - Schedule qualified discovery meetings for the founder or designated closer - Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-up, and opportunities in HubSpot - Follow up consistently with prospects who are not yet ready to meet - Help test and improve messaging, outreach sequences, ideal customer profiles, and targeting - Share market feedback to help Indivieu refine its offers and sales strategy - Identify potential opportunities across marketing, consulting, revenue systems, CRM, technology, and software - Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions This is primarily an outbound prospecting and meeting-generation role. You will not initially be expected to manage the entire sales process or close every opportunity yourself. Performance Expectations and KPIs This is a high-activity outbound role, but performance is not measured by empty volume. The primary goal is generating qualified meetings that actually take place and create legitimate sales opportunities. - 6–8 qualified meetings booked per week - 4–5 qualified meetings held per week - 16–20 qualified meetings held per month - A meeting show rate of at least 70% - A minimum active-performance threshold of 12 qualified meetings held per month - Consistent creation of sales-qualified opportunities - Complete and accurate CRM activity, notes, attribution, and follow-up - Consistent multi-channel outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels Activity Benchmarks - Approximately 60 outbound calls on active calling days - Consistent email, LinkedIn, and multi-channel follow-up - Progress toward 90 minutes of meaningful talk time as connect rates improve - Timely follow-up with interested or not-yet-ready prospects - 100% completion of required HubSpot activity and meeting records These activity numbers are operating benchmarks, but qualified meetings held, meeting quality, pipeline created, and revenue influenced are the most important measures of success. Ramp Expectations - Weeks 1–2: Learn Indivieu’s offers, target markets, systems, and messaging; Begin building prospect lists and conducting outreach; Target 2–4 qualified meetings booked per week; Target 1–3 qualified meetings held per week - Weeks 3–4: Increase outbound volume and demonstrate consistent follow-up; Target 4–6 qualified meetings booked per week; Target 3–4 qualified meetings held per week - Month 2 and Beyond: Target 6–8 qualified meetings booked per week; Target 4–5 qualified meetings held per week; Maintain a meeting show rate of at least 70%; Maintain at least 16–20 qualified meetings held per month Compensation This role begins as a commission-only opportunity with uncapped earning potential and ongoing recurring commission opportunities. - Sourced Lead Commission: 8% of First Month’s MRR - Booked Meeting Commission: 12% of First Month’s MRR - Combined Opportunity: 20% of First Month’s MRR - Ongoing Recurring Commission: 8% of Monthly MRR Commissions are calculated on revenue collected by Indivieu. Advertising spend, taxes, refunds, pass-through expenses, and other non-commissionable amounts are excluded. Estimated Earnings Estimated First-Year OTE: $45,000–$90,000+ - Earnings are uncapped. This estimate assumes approximately two self-sourced and booked clients close per month at an average contract value of $2,500–$5,000 in monthly recurring revenue, with continued client retention. - Actual earnings will depend on individual performance, contract value, close rates, collected revenue, and client retention. Growth Path This position is designed to create a path into Indivieu’s long-term revenue organization. - A base salary plus commission structure - Additional responsibilities across business development or sales - Account executive or revenue leadership opportunities - Benefits as the company’s employee infrastructure expands - Potential equity consideration for exceptional long-term contributors A future salary, benefits, promotion, or equity grant is not guaranteed. These opportunities will depend on company performance, individual results, role availability, and mutually agreed-upon terms. Who We’re Looking For We want someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable creating opportunities from scratch. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in outbound sales and does not need constant oversight to remain productive. - Have at least one year of business development, sales development, appointment-setting, or outbound sales experience - Are confident making cold calls and initiating conversations with strangers - Can handle rejection without losing consistency - Communicate professionally with business owners and decision-makers - Are organized and capable of managing your own outreach and follow-up - Are comfortable working in HubSpot or another CRM - Can work independently without constant supervision - Want to help build something at an early stage - Understand the tradeoffs of starting with commission-only compensation - Are motivated by performance, ownership, recurring income, and long-term upside Why Join Indivieu? Indivieu is building beyond traditional agency services. Alongside our digital marketing and consulting work, we are developing internal and client-facing technology products, including SalesVieu and the broader IndivieuOS vision. - Fully remote work - Flexible schedule focused on results - Uncapped commission potential - Ability to build recurring monthly commission income - Direct access to the founder and company leadership - Opportunity to influence Indivieu’s outbound strategy and sales process - Potential path to a base salary, benefits, and a larger revenue role - Exposure to both service-based and software-related growth opportunities - Potential future equity consideration for exceptional long-term contributors - Ground-floor opportunity with a company building toward a much larger vision If you are comfortable creating opportunities from scratch and want your results to directly influence both your income and your future role, we would like to hear from you.

Full TimeRemoteTeam 200Since 2021

What is Bilt? Bilt is the membership for where you live. What started as a way to reward people on their largest expense has turned into an ecosystem connecting our members, property managers and local merchants. Travel, dining, fitness, everyday spend. We are building systems across payments, credit, loyalty, and commerce all at once. We run lean and move quickly. Every person here has a real impact on what gets built and how fast it happens. This role comes with real ownership and high expectations. If you prefer clearly defined lanes and structure, this will feel uncomfortable. If you want to build quickly, have a real say in what gets built, and work on products used by millions, you will likely do your best work here. What's the role? We're looking for a Business Development Representative who's ready to hit the streets. This is a field-first, feet-on-the-pavement role — you'll go building to building, meet property managers face to face, and sign them onto the Bilt platform. You're not waiting for inbound leads; you're out in your region every week creating your own pipeline. We want people who are genuinely excited about multifamily real estate and Bilt's mission — high hustle, low ego, and evergreen energy. You'll own a net-new market end to end: working a city block like a route, showing up at industry conferences, and building the relationships that turn into signed deals. We are currently only seeking candidates who live in Texas and are willing and able to travel to partners 100% of the time. In this role you will... - Own a regional territory and drive net-new property manager acquisition, building by building - Run a high-volume outbound motion: cold walk-ins, canvassing, warm intros, and everything in between - Travel extensively within your region, spending the majority of your week in the field - Represent Bilt at industry conferences, trade shows, and local multifamily association events - Build and manage a pipeline of prospective property management companies and ownership groups, from first conversation through signed contract - Develop deep relationships with regional property managers, leasing teams, and decision-makers - Understand each prospect's portfolio, pain points, and resident-experience goals to tailor your pitch - Partner closely with Implementation to ensure a smooth handoff once deals close - Report on pipeline, activity, and results, and continuously refine your approach based on what's working in-market In terms of qualifications we're seeking: - 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally in a field / outside sales capacity - A track record of building pipeline from scratch — you don't need leads handed to you - Comfort and enthusiasm for heavy regional travel and being in-market most of the week - Confident, personable, and persistent — you can walk into a property unannounced and turn it into a meeting - Genuine excitement about attending conferences and events as a core part of the job - Strong organizational skills to manage a multi-city pipeline without dropping the ball - A competitive, resilient mindset — you treat "no" as information, not rejection Nice to have: - Experience selling into multifamily, property management, or proptech - Existing relationships with regional property management companies or REITs - Experience with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage pipeline - Background in fintech, rewards, or resident-experience platforms Benefits: - Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program - Health insurance for you (& your loved ones) from day one - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, wellness stipends, family programs and more, on us. We've got you and your family covered from day one. - 401k plan with a match - Retirement may feel more like a pipe dream than a reality but we're here to help you get there. - Commuter FSAs - We believe the best ideas come from being together in one place. We just don't think getting there should be so expensive. - UNLIMITED PTO - Because we believe that working hard shouldn't mean always working. Take time for you as often as you need it. - Exclusive Employee-only Bilt Points - We give our employees unique opportunities to earn points throughout their time at Bilt. - Team Events - We believe in human connection so we hold events to help our employees break from the monotony of the typical work week. At Bilt, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt's salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations. We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process. Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time. The salary range for a Business Development Representative is $50,000-85,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
