This is a remote position candidate must live on the West Coast, USA (preferably in the Bay Area area) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER Manages an existing sustained customer base with a minimum sustained territory size of $15 million up to $30 million. Territory will include transactional and strategic accounts with a potential of platinum accounts. Outside sales rep for the entire Carpenter product portfolio in the geographic territory of Northern CA, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM and Southern CA. Generates a minimum of 10% new profitable sales each fiscal year. Spends up to 50% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products. Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a monthly basis. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. REQUIRED FOR THE SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing or a related discipline. 8-10 years of sales/relationship management experience. PREFERRED FOR THE SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER Problem Solving: Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Customer Focus: Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
