Role Description We are looking for a strong candidate with deep materials management knowledge and hands-on experience supporting daily purchasing activities in SAP. The role requires someone who can quickly step in to manage purchase orders, material planning support, vendor follow-up, and issue resolution while maintaining accuracy and continuity across critical Gas Materials Management activities. The Materials Management Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of companywide supply chain inventory strategies for assigned commodities, consistent with Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures. They lead all aspects of planning, monitoring, and delivery of inventory material utilized in the Supply Chain; monitor material usage, future requirements, and key supplier relationships in conjunction with Strategic Sourcing; is aware of market and industry trends/conditions, market pricing, quality and delivery requirements, and other factors in the performance of duties. The Materials Management Specialist is required to interface with Vendors (sales/project management personnel), internal clients (users), auditors, Strategic Sourcing, etc. to achieve total overall value to the Company; thus, must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently. - Develop, implement, and manage inventory strategies to support the supply chain process for assigned commodities, or area of responsibilities consistent with corporate and department policies and procedures. - Research and develop a working knowledge of the assigned commodities or areas of responsibilities, including how the commodities are manufactured, rendered, specification requirements, and how the commodities are used by the Company. - Research and analyze inventory consumption data, inventory levels, work order requirement(s) signals, outstanding delivery orders, make decisions for ordering, and place orders via contract release or standalone Purchase Orders on an as-needed basis. - Provide recommendations for supply chain process considerations, and/or improvement. - Ensure end user requirements are satisfied. - Ensure quality of sure and stable supply of materials; monitor timeliness of the deliveries/performance and identify patterns. - Assess and implement various methods of inventory (e.g., consignment or Vendor Managed/Owned Inventory) and requirements forecasting (MRP), in conjunction with Strategic Sourcing. - Provide supply planning and analysis; and conduct supplier performance and relationship management. - Responsible for accurately creating and making changes to material master records in SAP Materials Management Module in accordance with naming standards, audit, and software requirements. - Participate in user testing for system revisions and upgrades. - Work closely with warehouse personnel regarding all aspects of materials management (i.e., stocking levels; jobsite deliveries; new and obsolete material; material changes/project timelines). - Coordinate with Engineering Standards and Materials on material standardization. - Periodically review materials forecasts against actual demand (used and/or returned materials) and make recommendations or adjustments. - Communicate forecast of project material requirements and timelines to contracted suppliers. - Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to hold suppliers accountable to contract terms. Qualifications - 5+ years direct experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain engineering, preferably in the utility or energy sector. - Proven ability to lead daily purchasing activities and perform hands-on operations while effectively engaging with leadership for strategic alignment. - Proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP S4/HANA) with deep understanding of MRP replenishment and analytics tools like MS EXCEL. - Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with departments such as logistics, engineering, operations, and supply chain. - Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams. - Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making using Tableau and similar. Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is preferred. - 5-7 years of experience.

Role Description Within the Environment team, you will assess, model, and mitigate noise and vibration impacts for public transit and rail projects from planning through commissioning. You will ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, optimize technical solutions, and support clients, authorities, and communities in delivering high-performing projects with strong social acceptability. - Design and deploy urban and rail noise/vibration measurement campaigns; ensure protocols, instrumentation, quality, and safety. - Model noise and vibration across design, construction, and operations; define and optimize mitigation measures. - Integrate acoustic/vibration requirements into plans and specifications with cross-disciplinary coordination; contribute to impact studies and permitting. - Lead the subject matter team tasked to complete investigation work and reporting. - Conduct noise and vibration modelling for LRT operations and construction activities. - Develop noise and vibration EMP. - Identify sensitive receptors and develop mitigation strategies (barriers, operational controls, etc.). - Support compliance with municipal and provincial noise guidelines. - Oversee acceptance testing, construction monitoring, and performance verification; recommend corrective actions. - Produce clear, auditable technical deliverables and present results to technical audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor or advanced degree from a recognized university with specialization in mechanical or environmental engineering; acoustics or equivalent. - A designation as an accredited Professional Engineer or have other relevant credentials. - 7 years of relevant experience. Requirements - Experience in environmental and vibration acoustics applied to transportation. - Experience in successfully managing noise and vibration assessments and mitigation measures for transit projects in North America. - Knowledge of relevant federal, Ontario and municipal policies, procedures and legislation; awareness of international best practices in rail/transit. - Ability to liaise with other specialty consultants, contractors, and Governmental Authorities. - Strong command of applicable Ontario/Canadian standards and frameworks, and familiarity with common municipal/provincial/federal criteria. - Proven field measurement skills, data processing, uncertainty analysis, and QA/QC protocols. - Proficiency with acoustic/vibration modeling tools and software; comfortable with GIS and computational/visualization tools. - Ability to translate technical results into practical, cost-optimized recommendations for design and construction. - ASP Construction card and railway safety training, an asset.
