Job Overview We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our growing team as a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Associate. This role bridges the gap between Paid Advertising (PPC) and Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO), ensuring the successful execution of multi-channel digital marketing strategies. The SEM Associate will work closely with both teams, helping clients maximize their visibility across search engines while driving measurable results through paid and organic efforts. The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, and creative. They can execute and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms and implement organic SEO strategies to enhance search visibility. This individual should be proactive in campaign creation, optimization, and performance reporting and contribute to content strategies supporting paid and organic efforts. Key Responsibilities Paid Search & Social Advertising (PPC) - Primary Focus Campaign Creation & Management: Develop, launch, and optimize paid campaigns on Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms. Audience Targeting & Keyword Strategy: Conduct keyword research and audience segmentation to improve ad performance and maximize ROI. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze paid media campaigns, making data-driven optimizations to improve CTR, CPC, and conversion rates. Multi-Channel Budget Allocation: Assist in developing strategies to allocate budgets effectively between SEO and PPC based on client goals. A/B Testing & Ad Copywriting: Create and test compelling ad creatives, headlines, and descriptions to enhance engagement and conversions. Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize landing pages for higher conversions and improved Quality Scores. Conversion Tracking & Analytics: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio to measure campaign success and provide actionable insights. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to develop SEO-driven content strategies. Technical SEO Recommendations: Identify and address technical SEO issues, including site structure, page speed, and metadata optimization. On-Page & Off-Page SEO Implementation: Optimize website content, title tags, and descriptions while managing link-building initiatives. Local SEO Management: Assist in managing client Google Business Profiles and local SEO efforts for improved search presence. Content Contribution: Support the development of blogs, service pages, whitepapers, and ad messaging that align with organic and paid strategies. Client Communication & Reporting Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates and performance reports on SEO and PPC campaign results, highlighting key optimizations and strategic insights. Client Collaboration: Participate in client calls to discuss strategy, campaign performance, and recommended optimizations. Competitive Research: Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging PPC/SEO best practices to maintain a competitive edge. Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO, PPC, or both (agency experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads management.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
- Experience with content strategy, ad copywriting, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, technical SEO, and website optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Writing samples required (either ad copy/messaging or long-form content such as blogs, whitepapers, etc.).
