• Creating and evolving architectural roadmaps for the data platform • Designing and implementing scalable data models, storages and pipelines for critical product features • Acting as a bridge between data science, product engineering, and stakeholders • Establishing and following data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices • Mentoring senior engineers and architects on complex data modeling and distributed system challenges

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in software and data architectures
  • Expert level fluency in programming (Python, Go or Java)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Iceberg, Athena)
  • Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures to process high volume data using tools like Spark
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and modern data architectures like data lakehouses
  • 6+ years of relevant data engineering experience
