• Review new insurance orders to ensure they have all the critical information needed to be processed by medical insurance and help find missing information if possible. • Tag valid orders accurately so they can move to the next processing step. • Encode data needed to the database accurately to avoid any issues. • Flag any orders that are missing key information or fall outside of the process guidelines. • Verify prescriptions for durable medical equipment, following a strict set of guidelines to determine their validity: • If the prescription is invalid, follow instructions to request an updated prescription from the healthcare provider. • Add valid prescriptions to customers’ orders and tag orders appropriately so they can move to the next step of processing.
