Job Description

Art Director

We Are Rosie

Role Description We're looking for a talented Art Director to join a fast-paced, product-led creative team, working closely alongside one of our primary creative vendors. This isn't a social-first or concept-heavy role. It's about design excellence, motion fluency, and consistent, on-brand execution at high volume. You've got 3 to 5 years of experience designing for known brands or tech companies. You've got a sharp, taste-led eye for typography, composition, layout, and color, and you know how to work within an established design system rather than reinventing one. Your portfolio shows clean, considered, culturally aware work. Confident, not overdesigned, and made for the feed. What You'll Be Doing - Digital Brand Design: Execute high-quality digital design work for product launches, feature releases, and everyday product moments across web and digital platforms. Maintain a cohesive visual system across static and motion assets, and build out layouts, toolkits, and templates that support high-volume, scalable output. Apply seasonal style guides and turn them into polished, on-brand assets. - Motion & Digital Fluency: Bring static systems to life through motion, UI animation, and video assets. Design responsive, high fidelity digital experiences like landing pages, microsites, and interactive modules. Collaborate with motion designers and support After Effects workflows when needed. - Vendor & Team Collaboration: Operate as an embedded partner within the creative vendor team, executing against clear creative direction with speed and precision, and helping keep creative quality and consistency high across a lot of deliverables. - Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Marketing Managers, Product, Copywriters, and Creative Ops. Take briefs and turn them into clean, effective design execution, and work within the design system in Figma alongside the rest of the creative team. Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of experience in design roles within creative brands, tech companies, or top tier creative agencies - A portfolio that shows strong digital product work and the ability to execute within an existing design system - Experience contributing to work led by, or produced alongside, external vendors or agencies - Strong working proficiency in Figma, including components, styles, libraries, auto layout, and shared workspace collaboration - Solid web design experience across desktop and mobile, and an understanding of how designs translate to build - Strong typography, layout, composition, and color theory skills - Experience designing for multiple channels and adapting work to platform specs - Comfortable in high-speed, high-volume environments with frequent iteration - Able to take and apply feedback quickly without over-polishing - Collaborative and pragmatic, with the ability to manage multiple priorities - Strong ability to interpret and apply existing brand foundations - Comfortable working within established systems rather than building new ones - Understands how design supports product storytelling and business goals - Familiarity with AI enabled creative tooling Nice to Haves - Experience supporting product launches or always on product marketing for a tech client - Familiarity with motion vocabulary for UI or product demos - A portfolio that feels clean, confident, and culturally aware, not loud or maximalist - Experience partnering closely with motion or video editors so design systems translate into motion cleanly - Illustration skills, custom iconography, or strong collage and asset-building chops - Experience working within large brand ecosystems (guidelines, approvals, multiple stakeholders) Additional Information We Are Rosie provides strategic consulting and talent solutions for the marketing industry. We partner with more than 200 of the world’s biggest brands and agencies to help them solve unique marketing challenges with the best people, swiftly and at scale.
