Spanish-English Audio Collection & Transcription Project

Role Description We are looking for fluent Spanish-English bilingual speakers to join a short-term remote project helping train multilingual AI language systems. In this project, you will: - Record natural bilingual conversations by following client-provided scripts - Transcribe your own recordings accurately - Segment audio into natural speech units - Identify and label speakers when multiple voices are present - Apply transcription guidelines, punctuation, and annotation tags correctly - Follow project guidelines to maintain high-quality outputs - Communicate actively with the Project Manager for clarifications Qualifications - Native speaker of one of the regional Spanish varieties listed below: - Mexican Spanish-English - Puerto Rican Spanish-English - U.S. Bilingual Spanish-English (Spanglish) - Dominican Spanish-English - Central American Spanish-English - Fluent in both Spanish and English - English proficiency of at least B2 level to communicate effectively throughout the project and understand project guidelines - Comfortable speaking and understanding natural Spanish-English code-switching - Strong listening, reading, and writing skills in both Spanish and English - Detail-oriented and patient, able to maintain at least 95% accuracy - Willing to ask questions when unsure - Quiet environment suitable for recording audio - Laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection - Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines Requirements - Complete a pre-assessment as part of the screening process, complete the pre-assessment here: https://forms.gle/KdYH6aSwJUuQxFTt5 - Bonus point: Previous experience in transcription, audio annotation, data labelling, or AI-related projects.
