Road Safety Promotion Officer
SGS
• Deliver Road Safety presentations to engage with various stakeholders (schools/businesses) • Identify opportunities to deliver training • Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, handouts to ensure full attention • Inspire road safety behavior change • Deliver training sessions in a variety of formats, including classroom-style, virtual, and on-the-job training • Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback • Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS Equality & Diversity policy • At all times adopt a safe and professional behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and members of the public, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures • The educational programs cover all aspects of road safety, including: Walking, Cycling, Using public transport, Being a passenger, Encouraging safe road practices, Protecting Vulnerable Road Users, Addressing dangerous behaviors on Irish roads
Job Requirements
- Candidates should have a third-level qualification in education or training or exceptional experience in one of these areas
- Train The Trainer certification would be beneficial
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills delivering road safety expertise to the public through various methods, including face-to-face, online, on stage at events, and during nationwide demonstrations
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders throughout the organisation
- Knowledge of data protection compliance and a clear grasp of child protection issues are essential
- Efficient schedule management for optimal service delivery, effective promotion of road safety campaigns, and the ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts nationwide are key
- Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to engage effectively with all age groups
- The candidate must be self-driven, adaptable to different age groups, and able to deliver learning in a fun, animated, and interactive way
- Ability to work well autonomously and collaboratively in a Team
- Passion, patience, enthusiasm, and high energy are important traits for a genuine drive to make a difference in communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams, is required
- A full clean driving license in category "B" is needed
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in Irish is an advantage.

Surgical Authorization & Clearance Coordinator

• Manage each patient's surgical pathway from scheduling through procedure completion. • Track and monitor all required pre-operative clearances, including medical, cardiac, and specialty clearances. • Coordinate and follow up on insurance authorizations to ensure timely approval prior to surgery. • Monitor completion of laboratory work, imaging, EKGs, and other required testing. • Maintain detailed tracking spreadsheets and electronic records to ensure no prerequisite is missed. • Communicate regularly with patients regarding outstanding requirements, appointment reminders, and surgery preparation. • Collaborate with physician offices, surgery centers, hospitals, primary care providers, specialists, and insurance companies to obtain required documentation. • Identify patients who have completed all prerequisites and can be moved into earlier surgical openings. • Continuously review surgical schedules to maximize provider utilization and reduce unused operating room time. • Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and available prior to the procedure date. • Document all communications and updates within the electronic medical record. • Resolve scheduling issues quickly while providing exceptional customer service. • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. • Assist with additional administrative and operational projects as assigned.
• Credentialing and re-credentialing individual providers related to the operation of Anesthesia and ASC entities; • Enrollment and revalidation of providers with government and commercial payors; • Regular contact via telephone and correspondence with state licensing agencies and federal regulatory agencies such as Medicare carriers to enroll providers into the Medicare program; • Provide timely turnaround of credentialing information and federal projects; • Work within a strict time frame of setting priorities, using discretion to exercise confidentiality; • Work with state and government agencies, and legal representatives; • Research and help to develop policies and procedures for the department; • Other projects as assigned requiring the ability to work with other co-workers toward successful completion; • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
