Role Description We are hiring a Meta Ads Creative Strategist to own the ad creative pipeline for our 7-figure Australia-based anime-inspired jewelry and accessories brand. You will connect media buying data with creative direction, turning performance insights into Meta ad concepts and video ads that test quickly, scale cleanly, and feel authentic to the anime community. This role is best suited for an experienced creative strategist with strong taste, paid social expertise, and a genuine understanding of anime fandom culture. As Meta Ads Creative Strategist, you will lead the creative direction behind our paid ads, from identifying winning angles to writing hooks, scripts, briefs, and video concepts. You will work closely with the founder, media buyers, editors, designers, creators, and UGC talent to ship polished creative that balances direct-response performance with a premium anime-inspired jewelry aesthetic. This is not an entry-level role. Success in this position means knowing what to test, what to scale, what to kill, and how to build a repeatable creative testing pipeline that improves ad performance over time while maintaining brand quality. What You’ll Do - Develop ad concepts, scripts, hooks, angles, and creative briefs for Meta Ads and paid social campaigns. - Translate media buying data into clear creative direction for editors, designers, creators, and UGC talent. - Analyze creative performance daily to identify winning angles, fatigue, testing priorities, and opportunities to scale. - Build and maintain a repeatable creative testing pipeline for hooks, angles, formats, offers, and video structures. - Create reels and ads with strong direct-response structure, compelling visual hooks, and polished execution. - Blend subtle anime inspiration with a premium jewelry aesthetic that feels authentic, not generic, forced, or cringe. - Review video edits, graphics, and landing pages to ensure they are polished, on-brand, and conversion-focused. - Provide clear feedback on creative changes before launch. - Distinguish strong creatives from weak ones, then apply those learnings to future ad concepts. - Source and brief UGC creators when needed. - Collaborate with the founder, media buyers, and creative team to improve ad performance over time. - Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice across all paid social creative. - Report creative learnings clearly so future tests are informed by performance data. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, Meta Ads Creative Strategist, Creative Director, or similar role for high-revenue Shopify e-commerce brands. - Experience running or supporting paid social for Shopify e-commerce brands with at least 7 figures in annual revenue. - 3 to 7 years of experience in Meta Ads creative strategy or a similar role. - Strong understanding of Meta Ads creative strategy, creative testing, paid social creative, and performance analysis. - Real knowledge of anime, fandom culture, and what anime fans actually respond to. - Ability to write authentic copy, hooks, concepts, offers, and briefs without sounding generic, forced, or like cheap merch. - Sharp eye for high-performing video ads and conversion-focused creative. - Solid understanding of direct-response marketing psychology, pacing, visual hooks, and conversion-focused storytelling. - Ability to tell the difference between a strong organic post and a polished, high-converting paid ad. - Comfortable analyzing performance data and turning it into practical creative decisions. - Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently in a remote team. - Available at least 5 days per week.
