Requirements - Relevant Engineering or Technical Background – 3‑5 years of experience in any combination of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Procurement, Production Operations, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related disciplines. - Cost‑Modeling Software Proficiency – Demonstrated ability to learn and apply manufacturing knowledge to build complex cost‑modeling using tools such as SEER or TruePlanning. - CAD & Engineering Drawing Literacy – Familiarity with CAD platforms (Creo, CATIA V5, 3DX/CATIA V6) and the capacity to interpret engineering drawings/blueprints. - Microsoft Office Suite Mastery – Advanced use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis, documentation, and presentation. - Data‑Driven Decision Making – Proven experience conducting data analysis and making recommendations using Excel, MATLAB, Tableau, or comparable tools. Desired Skills - Advanced engineering / systems thinking Ability to visualize complex systems, assess second‑ and third‑order effects, and apply quantitative reasoning. - Statistical expertise Strong grasp of descriptive statistics; experience on projects with significant statistical components. - Accounting knowledge Understanding of overhead allocation and cost‑allocation principles; coursework or experience in accounting/business administration is a plus. - Information‑management proficiency Experience structuring, presenting, or designing information (e.g., UI/UX, library/information science). - Qualitative‑data capability Background in disciplines such as history, anthropology, or sociology that involve synthesizing large volumes of qualitative information.
