Job Description

Coupa Integration Engineer

Bright Vision Technologies

Role Description We are looking for a Coupa Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Coupa BSM (Business Spend Management) and the broader enterprise application landscape. The role focuses on Coupa Integration Cloud, API-based integrations, supplier onboarding flows, and data synchronization between Coupa and ERP, finance, HR, and payment systems. The ideal candidate has shipped meaningful Coupa integrations in production, understands the source-to-pay process end-to-end, and applies disciplined integration engineering practices. - Work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders. - Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. - Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. - Bring strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Five or more years of integration engineering experience. - Hands-on experience integrating Coupa with enterprise systems. - Strong understanding of Coupa Integration Cloud and Coupa Open APIs. - Experience with at least one major iPaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato. - Strong understanding of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay processes. - Solid SQL and data transformation skills. - Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration security. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Requirements - Design and develop integrations between Coupa and enterprise systems including ERP, finance, payroll, and supplier networks. - Build integrations using Coupa Integration Cloud, Coupa Open APIs, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato. - Implement supplier onboarding integrations including supplier master, contracts, and catalog data flows. - Develop integrations supporting requisition, purchase order, invoice, and payment processes. - Implement chart-of-accounts, expense category, and lookup data synchronization between Coupa and source systems. - Build user, role, and approval-hierarchy synchronization between Coupa and identity systems. - Design error handling, retry, and reconciliation strategies for integration flows. - Implement integration security across Coupa endpoints, including OAuth flows, SSO patterns, and certificate-based authentication. - Profile and optimize integration performance and batch sizing for high-volume scenarios. - Participate in Coupa release planning, regression testing, and platform upgrades. - Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders on integration requirements. - Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation. - Support production incidents related to Coupa integrations and drive durable fixes. - Stay current with Coupa releases and BSM platform evolution. Benefits - Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits. - Long-term, multi-year engagement aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap.
