Site Manager – Construction Manager, Substation Projects

• You will lead our on-site activities for our 110/400 kV substation projects. • You are our on-site representative, the point of contact for our client, and you coordinate your site team as well as our subcontractors for construction and installation services. • Planning and coordination of all work on site while ensuring compliance with applicable occupational health, environmental and safety regulations, and contributing to the preparation of work and safety instructions. • Management of all site activities, including directing subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations. • Point of contact for our client and leader of site meetings. • Monitoring quality, costs and schedules during construction and reporting accordingly to project management. • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities related to installation activities and reporting these to project management.
Job Requirements
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with several years of professional experience; further qualification as a technician or master craftsman is preferable.
- Experience as a site manager in substation projects or comparable projects, e.g., oil & gas, power plants, or in the installation of high-voltage components is desirable.
- Strong health and safety (EHS) awareness according to international standards; ability to identify and stop unsafe work is required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide clear reporting.
- Lean mindset: openness to further training, new tools and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel for work within Germany and the Netherlands.
- Fluent German, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage.
- Driving license class B.

• Teach, coach, and train associates to ensure the effective execution of core Asset Protection initiatives • Drive execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs • Review Front End Accuracy standards to include Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives and G.E.T initiatives • Ensure stores are driving a safety culture by promoting safety initiatives • Teach, coach, and train store leadership and associates on theft/fraud, operational shrink and shrink mitigation initiatives • Build relations and engage with Government Relations and Law Enforcement for localized support • Perform timely entry of internal cases into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy • Review available resources to identify key theft trends by class and SKU for internal and external theft and create solutions • Conduct timely interviews for internal theft cases identified by MAPM or Central Investigations Team (CIT) • Daily, weekly, and monthly review of business practices, exception base reporting, theft portal, and AP Performance Hub • Review and analyze shrink performance within the district and by store location • Make hiring decisions and take disciplinary action including termination • Conduct performance reviews, utilize performance management to address performance opportunities. • Coach and train associates on proper safety behaviors and environmental/regulatory processes.
