• Design, implement, and maintain complex IP networks in the Reno area. • Develop and execute network plans, considering factors such as scalability, security, and performance. • Configure and optimize MikroTik routers, switches, and other networking equipment. • Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. • Implement robust security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure. • Monitor network performance and analyze data to ensure optimal functionality. • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, system administrators, and security professionals. • Provide training and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a MikroTik IP Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of MikroTik RouterOS and related networking technologies.
- Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing, and subnetting.
- Experience in designing and implementing secure and scalable networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) are a plus.
