• Drive new business by identifying and prospecting higher education institutions through cold outreach, conferences, networking, and referrals. • Partner with BDRs and Marketing to create and run targeted lead-generation campaigns. • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to showcase the value of our SaaS solutions. • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact. • Run a consultative purchasing process with customers, ensuring customer success and satisfaction. • Manage and track sales activities in the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting. • Ensure deals move efficiently through the sales funnel with proper qualification along the way. • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring deals align with both customer needs and company goals. • Work with sales leadership to craft competitive packaging and pricing strategies. • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive company-wide success.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B or B2G SaaS sales experience, with a record of meeting targets
  • 2+ years of EdTech and/or Education experience, working within higher education, K12 education, corporate L&D, and/or workforce training
  • Experience with average contract values (ACV) of 50K+, with additional examples of 6-figure deals under your belt
  • Ability to self-generate pipeline – experience sourcing 40-50% (or more) of top of funnel opportunities, with the rest coming from BDRs and Marketing
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills – you can simplify complex ideas and close strategic deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated & adaptable – you thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Growth mindset – ability to receive/give feedback and evolve as a salesperson
  • CRM proficiency – experience managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.
