• Coordinate and develop content for public sector RFx responses and proposals to include SaaS/PaaS solutions • Manage the submission response, and create bid/response plans and schedules • Creating milestones, navigating bid strategy, and organizing bid plan to distribute to the internal stakeholders • Co-developing the RFx responses with the AE/Solutions team • Manage/track all aspects of content preparation, revision, and submission; collaborate and coordinate inputs from sales, solution engineering, security, legal, and compliance teams • Simultaneously coordinate across multiple internal/external bidding partners at once where required; and coordinate internal content reviews with executive management and legal • Structure, edit, and format all types of response content (general, functional, technical), tailoring the content around the customer requirements, and remain current on all amendments and modifications • Participation in the development of proposals, win themes, and executive summary sections and sharing best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency • Leverage AI to create baseline content for high-volume sections, such as project backgrounds, executive summaries, or standard corporate capability descriptions, to reduce initial writing time.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a proposal development/bid management role selling products and services responding to government solicitations
- 5+ years of experience in the technology consulting industry in a writing role supporting responses for government organizations
- Past experience establishing bid practices within an organization from the ground up
- Experience with technical writing for proposing system integrations, consultations, or project management in cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) area is a plus
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gchat)
- Self motivated to excel in a remote position collaborating effectively with a remote team; possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work occasional overtime if necessary.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline content creation, improve proposal efficiency, and enhance narrative quality.
