Supervisor, Mobile Inspections
Cox Enterprises
• Manage the productivity and quality of a team of Mobile Inspectors • Ensure inspector adherence to established inspection processes • Monitor inspection quality through digital and in-person inspection audits • Provide coaching and corrective actions / discipline as necessary • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external partners • Coordinate with boundary partners • Provide quality service and interact with automotive dealers and commercial clients to resolve issues and concerns • Recruit, hire, onboard, and provide ongoing support to employees • Conduct vehicle inspections and floorplan audits as needed • Review work volumes and continuously monitor staffing levels • Review team performance against KPIs and LDM metrics
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years relevant experience in related field
- One year’s experience in leading teams is preferred
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Experience with mobile inspections and/or floorplan audits preferred
- Previous body shop, mechanical, or estimating experience preferred
- Displays a general understanding of frame and body repairs and mechanical knowledge
- Technical and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling & routing software, and vehicle inspection applications
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and can motivate others
- Excellent organizational skills, customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems
- Ability to work with remote supervision, and to supervise remote employees
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

• Operate all MEP systems on sites in a competent, and confident manner (including MV/LV Electrical isolations/operations). • Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required. • Ensure that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed efficiently, and quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Integral Supervisor. • This includes but is not limited to reviewing supplier RAMS ahead of visits and highlighting any concerns. • Actively participate and complete Health and Safety compliance activities, such as Hazard/Near Miss Reporting and regular attendance/completion of scheduled Toolbox Talks. • Liaise with the supply chain, when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works. • Take ownership of sites under Integral control, ensuring they are brought up to and maintained to the required show site standards. • Efficient and effective completion of elogbooks PPM/Reactive tasks that have been allocated, ensuring that tasks have been acknowledged and completed within SLA. • Communicate effectively and regularly with mobile engineers, Helpdesk, contract admin and Contract Delivery Manager through all means of communication to hand.
