Associate Manager, DEWALT, North America - Strategic Operations

Role Description As an Associate Manager, DEWALT, North America – Strategic Operations, you’ll be part of the Tools & Outdoor Commercial DEWALT team supporting strategic and operational priorities across the North America business. Reporting to the Director, DEWALT, North America, you will help drive cross-functional initiatives, support business planning processes, improve operational execution, and contribute to strategic projects that advance DEWALT’s growth objectives. This position is based in our Tools & Outdoor headquarters in Towson, Maryland, with remote locations considered. - Support strategic operations that advance DEWALT North America business priorities and growth objectives. - Partner with cross-functional teams across Channel, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to help drive alignment and execution on key initiatives. - Assist in annual and long-range business planning processes by helping translate business priorities into actionable plans and tracking mechanisms. - Help identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and team effectiveness across the organization with a particular focus on Commercialization of Innovation. - Support operating rhythm activities, including business reviews, performance tracking, leadership updates, and cross-functional meetings. - Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance trackers to monitor progress against strategic and operational goals. - Analyze business performance, market trends, and internal data to identify insights, risks, and opportunities. - Coordinate and support cross-functional projects from planning through execution, helping ensure milestones and deliverables are completed on time. - Prepare presentations, summaries, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making and team alignment. - Track action items, follow-ups, and deliverables across key initiatives to help ensure strong execution and accountability. - Collaborate with stakeholders to remove barriers, solve problems, and support successful implementation of business priorities. - Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational discipline. - Leverage technology and tools, including artificial intelligence to streamline workflows and drive improved effectiveness. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Finance, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in strategic operations, business operations, sales operations, project management, commercial strategy, or related roles within consumer durables, tools, or similar industries. - Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and working in a matrixed environment. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong working relationships. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to work. - Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. - Results-oriented mindset with a desire to improve processes and drive execution. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting or business intelligence tools is a plus.
