QA Engineer – Fixed-Term Contract
Mars Holding GmbH
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. • Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution. • Validate new features before release and verify bug fixes. • Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release testing. • Ensure applications meet quality, usability, and performance expectations. • Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards. • Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing where applicable.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
