Senior Web Tracking Engineer

Role Description We're scaling our website tracking infrastructure to match our growth speed, and we're looking for a Senior Web Tracking Engineer to help pave the way. You'll take ownership of how we capture and deliver conversion signal across our platforms, ensuring accurate, reliable data reaches Meta, Google Ads, and Amplitude. This is a hands-on role where you'll design solutions and see them through to production, working closely with our web tracking squad, product, and data platform teams to solve interesting and complex tracking challenges. Location: EU-based, fully remote. If you're based in Lithuania, this is a direct employment role. If you're elsewhere in the EU, you'll join as a contractor, with the same benefits (paid time off, and more) as our employees. Your day-to-day - Design and maintain server-side tracking solutions that power accurate measurement across our platforms - Ensure reliable, accurate conversion signal delivery to Meta, Google Ads, and Amplitude - Investigate and resolve complex tracking issues across devices and domains, often starting from an ambiguous problem - Partner with stakeholders across PPC, product, and data teams to work through data quality questions together - Maintain data governance standards, keeping tracking accurate and privacy-compliant across platforms - Continuously improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of the data we collect Qualifications - 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining web tracking - Experience with server-side tracking implementation (server-side GTM or equivalent) - Strong working knowledge of conversion APIs (Meta CAPI, Google Ads conversion imports), including deduplication and identity-matching logic - Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude - Strong JavaScript fundamentals and understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS) - Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and their practical impact on tracking implementation - Strong communication skills, able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders - Comfortable owning ambiguous problems without a fully pre-defined scope Requirements - Experience with containerized infrastructure (Kubernetes/GKE, Docker) - Experience with SQL and data visualization tools - Exposure to additional analytics or tracking platforms beyond GA4/GTM/Amplitude Benefits - 🚀 360 Growth: Limitless learning opportunities with access to platforms like Reforge and CoachHub, global conferences, feedback culture, digital libraries, and industry-leading subscriptions. - 🎯 Freedom & responsibility: Work on your terms, whether from the comfort of home or anywhere in the world.
