Fleet Manager
Zayo Group
Role Description Zayo is seeking a Fleet Manager. - Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet which is currently 1,300 vehicles. - Monitoring regular maintenance on all vehicles. - Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed. - Manage FMC performance to ensure fleet reliability and availability. - Managing vehicle licensure and registration. - Ensuring all fleet members have proper license and vehicle documents on hand. - Providing reports to management on fuel, lease, and maintenance spend as required by Zayo Management. - Processing fleet related invoices according to Zayo’s GL codes. - Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency. Qualifications - Outstanding critical thinking and decision-making process. - Anticipation of risky business situations with deliberate and swift response. - Some travel and access/availability to serve the needs of the business on a 24/7 basis. - Outstanding written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. - Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, safety, or related technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience required. - Five (5) years of fleet management experience preferred. Requirements - Estimated base salary range: $87,600 - $118,000 USD/annually. - Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. - Non-sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. - Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
